A standard photography package is the basis for any photographer’s business. It is often a starting point for potential clients to learn more about what they can expect from a shoot, or it can be used as a template for creating customized packages based on needs and wants of customers. Every photographer has his own photography package, and the following list is an average of what some photographers offer.
Pre-session consultation
A pre-session consultation is a meeting with your photographer to go over the details of your session. It’s essential that you are both on the same page with regards to what you want from your session, and this is where it will be discussed. During the consultation, you’ll discuss how long you want to be photographed for, where you’d like to take photos and any special requests such as outfits or props. A pre-session consultation takes place in person or via telephone, whichever suits you best. The length of these meetings varies depending on how much time you need together to cover everything fully; however the average time spent discussing each client’s needs could be up to 2 hours .
The benefits of booking a pre-session consultation include: knowing exactly what looks good on camera so there aren’t any surprises when it comes time for editing; making sure there are no misunderstandings about what kind of images each person wants before their shoot date arrives; having enough time between booking an appointment and the actual day itself so nothing slips through the cracks
Unlimited shots and poses
You should be able to do whatever you want. As the client, you should have all the power. Your photographer will be there for you and follow your every command. Dictate where you would like photos taken, whether it be in neutral surroundings or at a location that has meaning for you and your loved ones. You can even say “I want to go somewhere fun!” And if they don’t know of any good spots nearby (or maybe they don’t want to go out at all), they might suggest some places they think might fit what you’re looking for. Even if this happens though, just tell them what kind of things interest you and why—and remember: don’t worry about being too specific when describing what kind of photos are needed! The photographer will find ways around all obstacles using creativity so as not disappoint anyone on their team who put effort into making sure everything comes together perfectly on time without needing any help from anyone else outside those involved directly with hiring our services.
Online gallery for previewing your images
An online gallery will allow you to view your photos online and select your favorite images. You can share photos with friends and family, order prints or products like photo books, photo cards or canvas prints. You also have the ability to download your best shots at no extra cost!
One 8×10, four 5x7s, and ten 4×6 prints
You’ll have one 8×10, four 5x7s, and ten 4×6 prints. This is a good number of prints to choose from because you can pick out your favorites. If the photographer doesn’t offer this package, it might be worth asking them if they would consider doing so in the future.
If you want more choices than what’s offered here, then you may want to look into ordering larger sizes such as 11x14s or 16x20s; however, keep in mind that these sizes may not be available at every lab or print shop—and sometimes they cost more than smaller sized prints do.
Final high-resolution photos with personal print release
Finally, you’ll get your photos in a high-resolution format (meaning they’ll be big and clear) along with a personal print release. That means you can print your own photos or use them for any other purpose you want—as long as you don’t sell them!
Basic retouching on all photos chosen for products
The majority of the photos we provide for products are retouched to make them look better. This is a standard part of our photography package, and it’s done to remove blemishes and other imperfections that can distract from your subject’s beauty.
If you have wrinkles or scars that you’re worried about, we don’t recommend choosing photos that show them too prominently. While most people think wrinkles are best hidden in headshots (which usually include jawlines), it’s actually more critical in full-body shots because they’re so much more prominent and noticeable on the body than on the face.
A normal photography package will include all this information, but it may vary slightly depending on what you want or need. The important thing is to do your research before choosing a photographer so that you know exactly what you’re getting into!
